I&#8217;m not very good at prayer. Never have been. I&#8217;m such a task-oriented person, and have such a hard time sitting still, that developing my prayer life has always been a challenge.Can you relate? My guess is that most Christians struggle with this area. If you don&#8217;t feel very disciplined in prayer, you&#8217;re in good company.Despite all this, I&#8217;ve learned something that last few years that has helped me see prayer in a new light. Instead of seeing prayer as something to reach toward, something where I&#8217;m always coming up short, I&#8217;ve rediscovered that prayer is simply talking to God.Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison- that I may make it clear, which<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have a confession to make.
