There is a well on the property that provides running water to the house. If my mother wants to take a bath, she takes a bath. If she wants to take a shower, she takes a shower. There&#8217;s no one to tell her she&#8217;s using too much water or taking too long.For my mother, that must feel like a luxury.When my mother was growing up, she shared bathwater with both parents and all three of her siblings. To add insult to injury, she was allowed to take a bath only once per week.As the patriarch of the family, my grandfather would bathe first followed by my grandmother.
