What fans need to know before it launches in 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In June, Major League Soccer announced a 10-year, $2.5 billion broadcast partnership with Apple to launch a subscription-based platform inside Apple TV to house its games at every level, starting in 2023. On Wednesday, MLS and Apple revealed the streaming service, dubbed the MLS Season Pass, will go live Feb. 1. The 2023 MLS season will kick off on Feb. 25 MLS Season Pass will give fans access to nearly 500 games per year, without blackouts, including MLS, MLS Next Pro , MLS Next and the Leagues Cup &#8212; all centrally produced by MLS. Additionally, the league will broadcast a live whip-around show, bouncing game to game, and provide in-studio analysis before, at halftime and after games. Most games will kick off on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. local time. Announced Wednesday, subscribing to MLS Season Pass will cost $14.99 per month, or $99 per season.
