Dr. Kevin O&#8217;Connor,&nbsp;Physician to the President, said it was found during a &#8216;routine skin cancer screening,&#8217; according to a memo released by the East Wing on January 4th. O&#8217;Connor said it was being removed and examined &#8216;in an abundance of caution.&#8217; Jill Biden, 71, is the oldest first lady in modern American history. Mohs Surgery is an outpatient procedure where thin layers of skin are cut away to look for signs of skin cancer. Her office announced last week she would undergo the procedure at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. President Biden accompanied her at two other outpatient surgical appointments.
